This site is a tribute to Mart, who was born on December 08, 1964. My dad was singlehandedly the most unique and amazing man I've ever met. His personality was completely ridiculous, he had a weird sense of humour and incredible banter, he was playful, insanely intelligent, had an unbeatable work ethic, a loyal and kind heart, was completely tactless at the best of times and just lived a very full and unusual life. Dad would've been truly touched by all of our loved ones who have shown us support and shown him their utmost respect since his passing. I only hope that he knows how loved he is and can somehow witness all of the support he is being given. 

I would like for this page to function in two ways. The first of which is to help prevent an extreme loss like this from happening to other families. Nobody should have to go through what we have gone through - we are so unbelievably heartbroken that he is no longer with us and we're honestly not sure how we're coping without him. Pancreatitis is really unfair it is not understood - we don't know why it affects some people worse than others. There is still no cure for Pancreatitis so we would like to help do what we can to fund research into finding treatment for this horrible disease. The second is that I would like for this page to serve as an epic reminder of who he was and what he was like, as well as the amazing life that he lived. We'll miss and love him forever and we want to remind others of how wonderful and special he is every day. He will live on through our memories and our conversations, as well as tributes such as this.
